Overview

My Briefing is a personal command center for your tasks, calendar, notes, reflections and loose thoughts. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data.

My Briefing is operated at www.mybriefing.us and is a Pragvance.ai company. Your data is controlled by My Briefing and its parent company, Pragvance.ai.

What we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, used to create your account, sign you in and contact you about the Service.
• Content you create — tasks, calendar entries, notes, brain dump items, goals, habits and Abiding Place reflections.
• Voice captures — when you use voice capture, the audio you record is sent for transcription and then sorted into tasks, events or notes.
• Billing information — subscription status and identifiers from our payment provider. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider, never by us.
• Basic technical data — information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as log and error data.

How we use it

We use your information to run the Service: to store and show your content, to transcribe and organize what you capture, to manage your subscription, to keep accounts secure and to respond to support requests. We do not use your personal content for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run My Briefing: a cloud database and authentication provider for storing your account and content, an AI provider for transcribing and classifying voice captures, and a payment provider for subscriptions. These providers process data only on our instructions.

Data retention and deletion

Your content stays available until you delete it. You can clear your data at any time from Settings, and you can request full account deletion by emailing us. Once deleted, content is removed from active systems and drops out of routine backups over time.

Security

Access to your data requires you to be signed in, and records are scoped to your account at the database level. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Your choices

• Access and edit your content directly in the app at any time.
• Update your profile or reset all your data from Settings.
• Cancel your subscription from the billing area.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Children

My Briefing is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes and contact
